TwinsTalk

Susan Heim is an award-winning author of books on parenting, and specializes in the subject of raising twins and multiples. She turned to Frame25 to build a new community site for the parents of twins and multiples--a place for them to gather, share advice, read tips and articles, and contribute articles of their own. The author wanted a warm color scheme, with autumn tones and a welcoming feel. The design needed to effectively organize several content areas to make sense of a lot of regularly-updated information and visitor contributions. More than just a website, TwinsTalk is a community portal:

An unobtrusive login system and search function was efficiently placed in the upper right, with gentle reminders of the author's credentials and book availability always present at the bottom, designed not to overwhelm or interfere with the site content above. Inside the site are a variety of constantly-updated features, including photos, discussion forums, and more.

TwinsTalk is "dynamic," built on a content-management system, which makes it easy for the client to log in and manage content--moderating comments, adding, editing, and deleting items, and otherwise managing the website with minimal followup work from us. It also includes a storefront/shopping cart where visitors can buy the author's books without leaving the site.
